Crock Pot Chicken & Barley Soup

Have you ever had barley? Recently a friend gave me a bag of pearled barley. I had never tried it before and probably never would have, had it not been in my pantry. When we finally decided to try it, we fell in love. It has a rice consistency, but is slightly chewier. Delicious and healthy, barley is now a staple in my pantry!

It’s perfect soup weather here in Arkansas, so I decided to test my culinary ingenuity with Crock pot Chicken & Barley Soup!

So This Is Life…

In my last post I was a stay-at-home mom of one 9-year-old boy who I home schooled and pretty much spent every waking moment with.
